An industry leader with over 25 years of design, creative and marketing experience, Peter started his career as an Art Director for international retailer Club Monaco. From there, Peter spent seven years in traditional advertising, working at top-tier agencies: Arnold Worldwide, Grey Group and J. Walter Thompson Worldwide. In 2003, he made the jump to the fledgling discipline of content marketing, developing new ways for brands to tell their stories through original, multi-channel experiences. In 2013, he joined Meta Creative Shop in the Canada office.
Peter has been part of the Global Meta Creative Shop team for 10 years, working closely with clients and agencies to help build great ideas that drive business results. Leveraging the power of the world’s largest social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger offer new and unique ways for brands to engage with consumers. In 2017, Peter spent 4 months establishing Creative Shop in Stockholm, evangelizing great creative in News Feed in the Nordics. More recently, as creative director, writer and producer – Peter helped launch Boost My Business, an Instagram series hosted by Tan France. The show tells stories of how small business owners solve marketing challenges, creative problems, and find new ways to stay in touch with their customers. The channel has over 20 million followers and has become an integral part of Meta’s global efforts to help small businesses be successful in today’s world.
With a broad range of category experience that spans from packaged goods and retail to fashion and luxury, Peter is passionate about combining beautiful design, strategic insights and technology to create unique experiences that get noticed and get consumers engaged with brands.
